Travel photos and films
On countless trips to villages and nomadic tribes all over Iran and the Orient, the Munkholm family have collected an extensive knowledge of carpets rugs and kilims. They have seen where the rugs and kilims come from and met the people who, over many generations, have lovingly crafted them. Not least, dos the family benefit from their extensive hospitality. The family have travelled to the orient, especially Iran, regularly since 1976. Here are selected photos from the family’s many adventurous journeys.
